I remember the day you left this earth like it was yesterday. It was a sad day indeed, Irma and you are missed more than you could ever know. Rest In Peace, my friend.

I worked with Irma when I was a Draftsman in the Architectural Department of the Chicago Park District and Irma worked in the Blue print department she was always a ray of sun shine and I had a crush on her but not enough nerve to ask her out.

I left there to join the Chicago Police Department where our paths crossed again still a beautiful, friendly girl.

I was deeply saddened to hear of her murder, but not surprised it would be defending children.

How quickly 30 years have passed. You have always remained in my thoughts and prayers. I miss and love you Irma.
Your children, grandchildren and Pete have kept your legacy alive. You live through them.
