Schaefer, Irma L. March 25, 1913 - August 25, 2006. Irma went home to the eternal light after a long & faithful journey; she never strayed from the path. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hartley; infant daughter, Jane; daughter, Lois Corona & granddaughter, Lisa Olson; also parents, George & Frances Hetzel; brothers, Ronald, Larry, Harold & Wilfred Hetzel; sisters, Ann Mason & Patsy Kiekow. She will be sadly missed by sisters, Lorraine Brettner & Hattie Zabel; children, David (Carol) Schaefer, Judith A. Frommes (Jerry England), & Bonita Turner; grandchildren, Curtis & Deanna Olson, Paulette Corona, Brian Schaefer, Natalie (Doug) Corona Weingart; great-grandchildren, Dustin & Duncan Schaefer & Raiden Andrew Olson. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday 10:30 AM at CHURCH OF ST. ALBERT THE GREAT, E. 29th Street and 32nd Ave. S. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. I remember mrs schaffer so well, and when I watched her the one time, she still seemed like the smiley person she always was, I can still remember makeing warm pudding in the kitchen with bonnie, she was a good person and she lived a good life,thanks to Bonnie, Judy and david and Lois whom she is with right now and her husband. My thoughts are with the family at this time,just remember the good times.

My condolences to the Schaefer family. Your Mother was blessed to have lived a very long life and with the help of her family and loving daughter Bonnie, was able to stay in her home, almost until the end. Time and memories will help you through this difficult time and also the love of family and friends. Love to you all, from an old family friend of 57 years.
