To the family of Dr. Sklenar I'm so sorry for your loss she was a great teacher always encouraging to do our best and have confidence in ourselves. After high school when I would see her she always had an encouraging word what a remarkable teacher and friend ! thank you Dr. Sklenar for teaching me so much about history and government but most importantly thank you for your encouragement and support you had a profound impact on my life

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by God, also by the words in the Bible at Philemon 4-7 along with the support and love of your family and friends.

I'm so sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman. May you be comforted by God's promise that the dead will live again (Is. 26:19).

We will always remember your warmth and your knowledge and love of opera..you were indeed special and will be missed

Irma was a wonderful presence in the Neighborhood Association when we lived in the Crescents of Ann Arbor in the 1990s. I will especially miss her humor, her problem solving abilities, and her love of nature. My deepest condolences to her beloved son, Robert.
