Irma Stellini lived across from our family on Ariebill street. I felt right at home there, hanging out with Renee and Cindy. Renee was my first best friend and we would often walk together to SJV where we went to school together. Irma let me stay over lots of times when the family moved to Kentwood. Irma was my childhood neighbor and the mother of my best friend, Renee. My memories of her were of a delicate, gentle, smiling lady, always welcoming and gracious.

She was so very proud of her daughters and devoted to her husband. Together, they had a way of making me feel welcome, special, and part of the family.
