Rest in peace Mrs. Williams, and may perpetual light shine upon you. You gave me one of the very first bear hugs in my young life and taught me to be honest and tell only the truth at such a young age. Thank You, God, for good teachers in Your Name, Lord Jesus.

Mrs. Williams taught me at Polk Elementary in First grade. She always bragged on my appearance, was attentive to my needs and made me feel safe and secure as an only child. I remember asking my Mother to buy her favorite fragrance, White Shoulders, at the time as a Christmas gift that year just because she meant so much to us. She poured into her students and her passion for others carried more than you will ever know. She planted seed. She will be sorely missed.

Mrs. Williams, in 1970-1971 was my 1st-grade teacher at Polk Elementary School (where the Bell Tower is in Hamilton, Ohio). I'll never forget how nice she was. She always gave me bear hugs for my birthday. And she was so nice to me was really happy with me one day when I went up to her in the school office and told her that I "honestly forgot" to stay after school the day before. She is someone I'll never forget how good she was to me.
