Tracy and Sidney, I just got my Muse Machine direct mail, and was so sad to hear about Irv’s passing. He was a wonderful man, and you all were so good to my Tracy and I when we were in Dayton. Irv was a friend and a valued member of the Board for Friends of Liberia (FOL). He was a member of the group FOL sent to observe Liberia's 1997 elections held after eight years of civil war. While there he had the chance to meet some of he former law students including the lawyer who headed the Election Commission. It was clear that Irv was well respected by Liberians.
