I went to Christchurch with Irving, we were friends. This past year was our 35th reunion. Johnny, Burt and I went to Irving and Catherine’s home on the river during a lull in the activities reunion weekend. As Irving was giving me a tour of their home he told me how much he loved Thanksgiving. He showed me "the bunkhouse" upstairs and spoke of the warmth of family gathered during the holiday. As I sit with my family Thursday I will drift to that day on the river with my old friend and wish he...

Dear Catherine, Bryson, & Irv,

I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong for yourself and each other. I know this is a tough time for you and your family, but you have many friends who are thinking of you and praying for you. May God bless you and your family in your time of need.

Catherine, Irving and I were very close at CCS. My family and I have suffered much grief and distress from sudden loss and I want to offer to you my shared sorrow. Please know that there is comfort in sharing. Please know that wounds can heal, scars remain. I would love to talk with you someday.

Catharine, Shelley and I send our deepest sympathies to you. Irvine was such a kind, dear, man to all of his neighbors. We know that his loss is great to his family, but it is also a huge loss to his "new" community of Middlesex County. His spearheading of the regeneration of oysters to the Rappahannock is a legacy that will live on through all those he encouraged by his active participation. We love you and are here for you. Love, Katherine and Shelley Kucera

Catharine, Bryson and Irv,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Please know that we are thinking of you.

Norman and family,

I am so sorry for your loss! My prayer for your family is one of comfort and peace.
Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Sincerely,

Catharine & Family,
I know that this is a very difficult time for you but remember that God is always there to help you make it through the tough times. I know that there are alot of questions and no answers but God has a plan for all of us, we don't know what it is or when it will take place but we know that he is with us everyday. He is your strength and your comfort, lean on him and you will make it through this time. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
