IRVING GREENFIELD

Mr. Greenfield was a high school teacher of mine in 1984. I´m so glad I reconnected with him in 2009 when I finally became a published author. He was my single biggest influence and one of the nicest men I´ve ever known. I was off the internet for a few years and just found out about his passing. My condolences to his family. A true life-changing teacher and gentleman in every sense of the word.

I miss you, "Gramps." I hope you rest in eternal peace. Thanks for all you did for me.

Oh No!!!! Sooo sad!! Mr Greenfield was an amazing Mentor. He instilled in me “Failure is not an option”
Because of him I push my children to always give school %.

My Parents Met Irving on a trip to Italy in about 1974, Think he might have come to our house on Long Island, if i remember correctly he noticed my parents spoke English and he was writing a book about some family there , the name escapes me . I'm sorry of his passing. I still have a return address label from him, must of sent a letter to my parents... I'm so sorry Tom Emmi

We only knew Irving through his devoted son, Nathan who inherited his literary skills and is an accomplished writer. We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and take comfort that Irving lived to meet Ezra.

We mourn the death of our old and dear friend Irving. We will miss his humor and intelligent conversation. We will cherish our memories of happy times together.
