Mr. Heller was an amazing man. Funny,smart and had very strong opinions about music. It was all about tonality, harmony and balance with Irv, none of that atonal stuff for him. He was a man with a a broad world view, who in recent days was reading the Koran in Hebrew and told me it was beautiful. Whenever I sing 'Over the Rainbow' I'll think of you,sir.
