Not sure what to say?

Miss you, buddy. Hope the coffee is better in Heaven than it was in the firehouse.

I wish I could of had more time with you, but Ive spent enough time to know how special your grand-daughter is to you, as you once told me before I married her to take good care of her (or else). I have been doing just that. You will be very missed, and Im proud and honored to have met you and care for your special grand-daughter, and great-grand children. God Bless.

Dear Teresa,
I'm so sorry to see your dad passing and know it must leave a large hole in your heart. My heartfelt sympathy is with you. Thinking of you often.
Claudia Chambers

Our prayers go out to Avis and the rest of the family. He will be missed.

A mans man , unwavering in his beliefs . He will be missed by all he touched .

So sorry to hear of Irv's passing, I worked at the Reno Fire Dept with him and always enjoyed being around him. He was much respected and I believe viewed by all the members of the Dept as a very trusted firefighter and officer.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Love you dad. For those who knew him, the time of the celebration is 11am to 2pm.

My Papa...he was and will always be the greatest man I has ever come into my life. I love this man with all my heart and soul. He was the greatest grandpa a granddaughter could ask for or want. He was a man of integrity and honesty and under that tough skin of his he was a ball of love and compassion. I will love him forever and a eternity and miss him until the day we meet again. You will not be forgotten EVER Papa...I hold you deep in my heart and I love you with my every being! I'm...

Dear Avis and family, It's been such a pleasure to know Irv and you over the past several years, and to recently meet some of your family. I will miss Irv but hope to see you again someday at Hobey's. Your friend, Nan
