I encountered Prof Robbins on the campus of CSI as an adult student. I did not take his course but had great interest in the geology and bio coursework I was taking at the time. I noticed Prof Robbins had a unique vibe which stood out: understated and a keen intelligence radiated from his gaze. I am not surprised at his conservation efforts with the Protectors. Single Memorial Tree

1984 I came fresh off the boat from Japan to attend high school in NY, and met Isen Robbins. Isen lived up the hill so I was there most Fridays in his living room. 1984 also saw the release of Arthur C Clarke´s 2010. The sequel to 2001 Space Odyssey and in the mind of a 16 year old, my dream profession was to become an astro physicist. Then I met Isens dad, an astrophysicist!!! Mr Robbins was a hero to me. May he rest in peace and eventually continue our conversations elsewhere, somewhere...

Dad and his three sons. We carry his legacy forward in the lessons he taught us and the men we have become. Much love to you Papa.

Professor Robbins was my physics instructor at CSI. He made physics so practical and understandable! His energy was amazing! Still talk about him and how I passed that subject because of him!! Rest in peace.....

Unforgettable guy , good friend of my husband Warren Becker. We visited him in New York a couple times, the first when he was conserving Arden Woods and we walked excitedly through the mosquito filled woods. As other have mentioned, his enthusiasm for living things super close to my heart. Another time ,now with our 3 boys he took us to the astronomical observatory on Staten Island campus and WOW were we impressed. I'll never forget 'the seven sisters' group of stars and what a thrill it...
