Doug and Marianne Pardee send their heartfelt sympathy to the Roston family. My father tells a story about buying land from Irv in La Costa in the early 60s which marked the beginning of a long and successful building career in North County of San Diego. Dad credits Irv with the inception of this idea. You are in our hearts and prayers, Julie Pardee

"Fair Winds and Following Seas" to one of the finest men we have ever known. Irv Roston's naval service during World War II qualifies him as a member of the Greatest Generation. His service to his community is well-known. Our sympathy to his beloved family. Aloha, Mr. Roston

It has been a pleasure and honor knowing Irv over the past 35+ years. Above all of his achievements, his most important legacy will be the love and devotion that he had for his family and that he has instilled within them. My condolences to Muriel, Ellen, Mike, and the entire Roston family.

Irv was a true gentleman and we have all lost one of the nicest people one could ever hope to meet and know. God Bless you Irv, and I look forward to hearing more stories in heaven.

I had the pleasure of knowing Irv, I might add a humble man. His son Mike will follow in his footsteps. God bless Irv, and his family.
