Jerry's cousin was his brother. They shared many moments and fun. As a family I will cherish the moments that the Sherman's and Briante's had our vacations in Orlando. Especially, when Jerry was grilling and lightning struck and Jerry ran like a girl...I think Irv was laughing so hard. Also, Irv with his grandkids and his godchild plus brother playing in the pool...had his hands full (making me smile). Loved him but We know his with Aunt Lorraine and they are watching us and smiling. We Love...

sorry to the family-- i m sure he will be missed-- when i started at newark newsdealers irv was the chapel chairman -- he was a man that wanted to make sure the men got what they were entitled to--he fought tooth and nail with the star ledger to preserve the salary and status for all the men-- he would stand up to ANYONE and would nt back down from ANYONE-- a believer in right and wrong-- A MAN S MAN ~~ with DEEPEST RESPECT~~~JOE SHIMONIS~~~ my life is better because i knew IRV SHERMAN

Irv, I still can not believe that you are gone... I just want you and your family to know that it was a HONOR, to say tat I knew you.. You will be forever in my thoughts...
