Irwin was one of my very close friends at Englewood High School. As someone noted earlier, he was a very fine and gentle man. In 1954, he enlisted the help of his Uncle Max to help me end the flood of communist propaganda that was being mailed to my home during those very frightening McCarthy Hearings.
