Not sure what to say?

Dear Carole...my deepest sympathy to you and your family. You know how much I respected Sles and enjoyed working with him. His insight and humor were very influential in shaping my own positive views of science education and I consider myself lucky to have learned from one of the best. He will be missed...and very fondly remembered.

I had the privilege of editing two books he wrote for us. He was a teacher and an inspiration always.

He was my teacher from 1958 to 1960 in Columbus. His teaching was low key, inspirational, and fun. I often think of him as I teach today. His family has many reasons to be immensely proud of him. He would have enjoyed (in the absence of overseas addresses) my choice from drop down menu.

He was my teacher in about 1960 in Columbus Ohio and was a great teacher.

"Sless" was my mentor, my inspiration and my friend. I teach the way I do because of his example. I am still a teacher because of his optimism towards the future of students.

So sad to hear about passages about the old Haggard Hall group.

My deepest sympathy to the Slesnick family. May God give you comfort at this most difficult time, through his words at Psalms 55:22.

Sorry to hear of your passing. Seems to me like it has been 50 years since we first met. Who knows what is next.
