I grew up next door on Indian Hill Road in Lehighton. I caught many a fast ball by "Slatz", learned to love Bobby and Ursula, and spent many an hour sitting and talking with Monika. Recently when Monika came back to care for her mother, we re-connected. I heard all the latest news of you, her family, and knew you meant the world to her. You made her proud. You and your family have my sincere sympathy in this time of loss. Your Mother fought the battle long and hard. The loss hurts all the more because of this, but we must remember that the Master has a plan for our lives. Faith in Him is all we need to carry on.
