Mr. Isaac (Ike) Lewis Lassiter passed away on September 9,2020 at the age of 83, surrounded by his family.


He was the devoted husband of Mrs. Bertha M. Lassiter for 65 years, of that union they were blessed with 8 children.


He was a hard construction worker for Tidewater Construction for a great number of years.


Ike was a leader and lover of his family.


Isaac was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Johnnie and Mrs. Victoria Lassiter and 3 brothers James, Percy, and Herman Lassiter.


Ike leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Bertha Lassiter, 4 sons: Shelton Lassiter (Charleine), Willie Lassiter (Jannifer) of San Antonio TX , Isiah Lassiter (Vernita) of Lithonia GA , and Donald Lassiter (Estelle); 4 daughters: Debera Hunter (Timothy), Betty Collins (Nathen), Donna Lassiter, and Claudia Madison (William): 1 brother: Norman Lassiter of Newport News, VA.; 5 sisters: Mabel Lassiter of Portsmouth, VA, Fannie Evans of Eaton GA, Beatrice Wolfrey, Clara Lassiter, and Cynthia Matthews all of Suffolk, VA 1honary sister Obelia Harris, 2 brother in-laws, 4 sister in-laws, 23 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
