Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry to hear of Rabbi's passing. Some of my earliest memories of my life involve the Rabbi and being at the Center Street location. He will be missed by many!

Rabbi Gil-Ezer and Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief. Your father was a wonderful man with an infectious way about him that will be missed dearly. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

We are so sorry for your loss. Our deepest condolences go out to you and your entire family. Michelle and David Bernstein

We are sad to hear of Rabbi Isaac's death. Memories abound. He was a wonderful friend to our parents/in-laws Rose and Harold Weingarten. His many kindnesses to them both, his concern for Rose after Harold died, his help to us when our brother Mark died - all these things will live in our hearts.

Dear Lerer family,
The Prager-Mullen family was very saddened to learn of the passing of Rabbi Lerer a wonderful person who had a very special connection with my father, Charles Prager. His legacy will live on in the hearts and souls of those whose life he touched in so many ways.
Our hearts and prayers reach out to you.
Warmly,
Sharon, Michael, Marissa and Matthew Prager-Mullen

Dear Lerer Family,

The rabbi, as did all of you, touched my life more than you can know. You took a stranger and made him feel as at home and welcome as he, or rather I, did with my own family. Rabbi Lerer was indeed the greatest teacher of Judaism and humanity, not only because of his intellect, wit and deep knowledge, but also because he lived with and spread forth tremendous charity of heart and kindness of soul. I think of his example all the time. I appreciate how he touched my...

Dear Mrs. Lerer,
I am deeply saddened to learn of your husband's passing. I am gratified that I was able to get to know him, first in phone conversations and then in Stevens Point at the celebration in June at the Temple Beth Israel Museum. At the celebration it was evident that he was in “seventh heaven”. He had a constant smile on his face as he circulated, talking to former members of his congregation he had not seen for more than 50 years. He was very happy to return to his first...

Dear Goldie: Rabbi Gil-Ezer and the Lerer Family: We were terribly saddened to here of the passing of Rabbi Isaac Lerer: Although were relatively new congregants of Temple Menorah, our parents and grandparents were members and leaders of Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol.
Rabbi Isaac Lerer performed many life cycle event ceremonies for the Kahn and Weinstein family. He was an inspiration and a true pillar of strength for the entire Milwaukee Jewish Community. May fond memories sustain your...
