My friend "The Monk"...we all had nicknames in Vietnam..that was his..Mine was "The Mex"...we spend 6 mons in a Detachment in Vietnam..out in the "Boonies"..Isaac was in charge of the 6 of us..and one Lt...but the Monk was in charge...even the Lt..had to ask him what do we do next..Monk..new how to fix things..we admired him...One Day he saved Him and me...we were under a gas attack..he knew what to do...that is why I am still here because of him...I finally tried to get in contact with...

Ike was a fixture in our community, we all will miss his honesty, helpful ways, and his personality. And his ability to make you smile on your worst day. You and your family will be in my prayers. At any point I can be of any help to you please feel free to call.

Kat, Tab Shawn, Ike and grandchildren.... I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying that God will wrap his loving arms around you all during your time of bereavement and may God give you comfort. Rev. Dr. Ike has gone home to a better place where there is no more pain, suffering, or tears. Rev. Dr. Ike will be truly missed and he was loved by many. So I say keep your head up and yes its ok to cry but just know that weeping may endure for an hour but joy comes in the morning. Love you all. God...
