State Representative and attorney William "Isaac" Robinson passed away before his time on March 29, 2020 at the age of 44.
He has most recently been noted as working early and tirelessly at the start of the pandemic to draft and propose bills to help ease the hardship of citizens of the community. He has also fought passionately to end water shutoffs, racial and environmental injustices, archaic marijuana laws, and Detroit’s expanding facial-recognition system.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced on Howe-Peterson.com. It is requested by the family that anybody wishing to send flowers wait until the time of the service.

Fortunate to have gotten to know Isaac during the past Legislative Session and will be forever grateful for the memorable dinner I had with him and his colleagues at Krakus in Detroit. He had a passion for people and Polish food! Isaac had a heart of gold, cared deeply about making life better for his fellow citizen and worked hard to make a difference for folks in Detroit. He was smart, kind and extremely witty. My deep condolences to Rep. Rosemary Robinson and Isaac's entire family.
