Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry to learn of Isobel's passing. My Momma was one of her longest known friends back in Chicago, Dorothy (Cherney) Iverson, also known as Dotti. She went to Sullivan High School, and I believe Is was in Momma and Daddy's wedding (John Iverson).
From time to time, Momma tried calling the 538-9822 # but I think they'd been out of touch for a while. I do know that back in the day, there was deep friendship there and strong BFF type love.
Momma just died on 5-24-2021 and I'm...

As spring begins and the hummingbirds fly, I think of Isabel and smile. We shared a love of hummingbirds, Frank Sinatra and Irving Berlin's White Christmas. I wish our time together could have been so much longer, but I'm blessed to have known her. Her spirit lives on in her children and grandchildren and I will always be thankful to her for raising such an amazing son.

Isabel was a friend and fellow gardener who truly appreciated the beauty of nature and the importance of lifelong learning. She was an advocate for education, equality for women, animal rights and more. She loved music! Her independence and humor will be remembered and missed! I appreciate that her family shared her with the rest of us, and hope they find comfort in knowing they truly honored her wishes to do it her way and stay independent to the end. She was so proud of her family!

Our condolences to the entire Baker family.
We share your loss. She was one of the kindest and most gracious people We have ever had the privilege of knowing. She is missed. we lost a great neighbor.

My aunt Isabel was a wonderful and engaging woman. I'll remember her especially for her family holiday dinners to which I always looked forward to. She was always so positive. Rest in peace, Isabel.

It is a great loss, Isabel was a gracious, beautiful and great lady. Isabel and her late husband and my brother George will be remembered for their wedding, the numerous family picnics, luncheons, dinners and other wonderful events that extended over a period in excess of 50 years We all loved Isabel and will miss her. -- Dan Baker

Dear Cousins Mike and Kathy, I have such fond memories of all the holiday parties spent with you guys while growing up. You mom could sure host successful get-togethers. When I think of your mom it brings a smile to my face, she was such a neat lady! I will miss her.

She was a good cook. For family and friends.
