Isabel A. Moyer-Kanney

Isabel A. Moyer-Kanney age 87 of Massillon passed away following a brief illness on Saturday July 19,2003 in Massillon.

She was born February 9, 1916 in Massillon and lived all of her life in the area. Isabel retired in 1970 after 15 years with S.K.F. Bearings, Inc. as a industrial registered nurse. She was a long time devoted member of Grace United Church of Christ of Massillon with well over 50 years of service and a member of Senior Fellowship group of church. On October 16th of 2003 she would have been married for 65 years to her husband Howard Kanney.

In addition to her husband Isabel is survived by 2 sons and daughter in laws Scott H. and Susanna Kanney of Perry Twp.,Oh. , John H. and Barbara Kanney of Massillon. One daughter and son in law Sue and Jess Kanney-Arnold of Massillon. One brother and sister in law Raymond W. and Geraldine Moyer of Massillon. Other survivors include 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Martin and Charlotte (Baldwin) Moyer, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at Grace U.C. of C. of Massillon. Rev. James W. Painting presiding. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at church.

Burial will be at Rose Hill Memory Gardens in Massillon.

Donations may be made in Isabel's name to Grace United C. of C. Scholarship Fund 933 Main Ave. W. Massillon.
