She was a trailblazer like no other. I was blessed to have known her. God knew what he was doing when he made sure our paths crossed. Lucky me! May she rest in peace in her new kingdom. Condolences to all of her family. Peace be with you.

My sincere condolences to Juan Ortiz & the San Miguel family. I will always remember Mrs. Ortiz from Lanier High School. She inspired me & other classmates to join Ballet Folklorico & I enjoyed her class tremendously. She was such a talented music teacher. She went over & above to help her class achieve their goals. If we needed an outfit for a performance she was instrumental in helping each student have the perfect attire for each ballet folklorico performance. I will truly miss her.

She was my high school music teacher at Sidney Lanier. May she be in the presence of our Heavenly Father. My heartfelt condolences to all the San Miguel family. She was a great music teacher.

My condolences to the family, so sad for your loss. Your mother was my 5th grade music teacher at David Barkley Elementary School. l never forget her she was the best teacher never, very patient always happy to teach us 5th graders. I remember her always telling us small stories about her children. GOD bless

My most sincere condolencaes to the family of Isabel Ortiz. I attended Sidney Lanier High School, graduating in 1974. Back then, she was known to us as Mrs. San Miguel. I was never a student of hers but I remember he smile and joyous personality. She was a great teacher and will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! To Mrs. Ortiz's husband, children, grandchildren and great-grand children, I send you my prayers. Please know that God will wrap his arms around you and comfort in your grief. Rest in Peace...
