So sorry to learn of Sis's passing ..Just came across this notice today Nov 18/ 2022 .She was my cousin..her mother ( Isobella McGowan ) was my fathers sister ( John Fraser McGowan ) both born in Scotland as I was . My maiden name was Annie ( Nan ) Kinniburgh McGowan .....Sis and I were l penpals when we were young .She was 3 years older than me.I found this notice while scrolling and saw,an article about the Calypso and how Sis launched it as a minesweeper ..Was so thrilled to see this but...
