Not sure what to say?

Sister Isabella was a friend of mine. I learned much from her as we studied the Humanities. We enjoyed discussing politics, family and world affairs, particularly those in Africa. She had her photograph taken with Haile Selassie shortly before he was assassinated. Sr. Isabella was a tiny woman with pristine manners and an enormous vocabulary. She was in the Peace Corps, volunteered at the MN Historical Society until well into her 90s and faced down young adults in the class room, leaving them...

Sister Isabella was an inspiration to me all my life. I admired her greatly and will miss her.

What an amazing woman. Sister Isabella was the principal at Derham Hall when I attended there. She certainly made her life one of service and has set an example that will be difficult to follow.

Celebrating a life well lived. Sister Isabella was Principal during my years at Derham, two years on the college campus and two years at the new school. She guided the students well. I appreciate all her efforts and gained so much from being at Derham Hall Kathleen Robertson Kennedy Class of 1964

Sr. Isabells's last year as principal of Derham was my freshman year. Imagine my surprise when some 30 years later she began volunteering at the Minn. Historical Society in the Reference Dept., which I was managing at the time. She certainly lived a full life dedicated to education and service. DeeDee Engel Carlson, Class of 1967

I am sorry to hear of Sister Isabella's death. She was the principal at Derham Hall High School when I was a freshman. My sympathy to her family. Karen Weiss Weiger class of 1966

Our sympathies go out to the family, please know God is our refuge and strength. Psalms 46

I remember Sister Isabella as a kind principal who was very encouraging to me at Derham Hall. She was the first principal in the "new" school in 1962. Memories of her will not fade.

We are sorry to learn of the passing of Isabella, but grateful for her service to our nation with the Peace Corps in Gabon.

Our Condolences,
The National Peace Corps Association
