Not sure what to say?

Beautiful Isabella- always in our hearts - never forgotten. All my love, Ita xxx

She was an inspiration to me as I coped with my own health struggles while she was battling cancer. She was courageous and lived with joy and dignity to the end. So proud to be her Uncle.

Bella was my student in Honors English10. To say she was a memorable student is simply an understatement. First, her smile lit up a room. Seeing it here in the photo brings tears to my eyes; it is the same undiminished smile. She was a gifted student: a sensitive reader, a graceful writer, and a supportive classmate. But more importantly, she was such a quiet beacon of positive energy for all of us, her teacher included. I watched her TED talk later in awe. The world is surely a poorer place...

I feel so lucky I got to meet her last year and spend time in Thanksgiving, Christmas and her 26th birthday party with her, she was a wonderful human being. I still remember a chat I had with her in Thanksgiving: we were talking for more than an hour, and I felt like we connected a lot and that she really cared about what we both were saying... in spanish! I am sooooooo very sad to read this. Even though we haven’t been in touch for a long time, every year I always thought about Bella on our shared birthday, as I did yesterday. My heart breaks for you all and send tender thoughts to your entire family. I would love to reconnect. I shall look for her TedX. I know you will keep her spirit alive. She sounds like a very advanced and profoundly beautiful soul. My love to you all.

Chip..so sorry to read about the death of your daughter. She sounds like a truly wonderful young woman. My heart goes out to you and your family. Paula Kurshner

I am truly saddened by Bella's passing. Bella was in my art class one or two semesters.
While I did not know her well, I enjoyed her spirit and energy. She was one of those special students that a teacher doesn't forget.
I am thinking about Bella's family, some of whom I know. God bless you and may she rest in peace. Liz Capps
