I first met Belle when we were pre-teens swimming on a club team in Detroit in the early 50s and got back in touch during the last 5 years. At both ends of her life she had a full heart and an enthusiastic spirit, a lover of God, her family and friends, both living and deceased, and a joy in life even when it became so difficult for her in her later years. I have been blessed to know her and to know she is still praying for me. My love to her family.

I just returned from being out of town and was so heartbroken to read the message that Belle has passed.
She was so determined, proud and beautiful. I admired her spirit and her ability to always to remain dignified.
I send all my love to her children, husband, grandchildren and her loving sisters.
