In the 60's, our family would take a trip to the "country" (which is now the Vancouver Mall area) to spend the day with the Proctors. Riding horses, playing in the silo, feeding cigarette butts to the donkey, and getting chased by the turkey are some of the things we did to stay out of Isabelle's kitchen.
