I didn't find out about Isaiah's death until mid-February 2009. Before I moved to North Carolina, me and Isaiah were like best friends in the 7th and 8th grade at Stone Middle School. I remember him with that huge afro, and the biggest smile one could ever have. I just always knew that he would be around much longer than he was, and we continue to remain the best of friends.
I just want to say, Isaiah, my brother and friend, I'll never forget you!

My heart is absolutely broken over losing you, Isaiah. I literally never saw you without a smile. Your positive attitude and kind words changed the entire mood of the classroom last year. Students like you got me through my first year teaching.

isaiah.. i miss you so much. every time i think about you it brings tears to my eyes because i knew you so well you were just so amazing and had heart of gold. ive known you since 8th grade and though i left palm bay high before u and we may not have talked much, when we did talk it was like time was never lost. i love you and miss you!!!
