We still miss you, Prof. Your scholarship is well documented and your kindness knew no bounds. I will never forget the chances you gave me to teach in the summers in your department during my student days. It made a world of difference to me. Your family was a family to me, the ever smiling and polite wife and the sons whom I played soccer with. You all made me feel at home in Binghamton. Thank you and continue to Rest In Peace.

Prof., you gave me my very first job as a summer adjunct at the Africana Studies Department. You always listened to me, counseled me freely, and consistently encouraged me to give of my very best.
You were a father to me, a big brother when I needed one, and a friend when it counted the most. You will never be forgotten. Rest in perfect peace.

Our brief time together was made so exceptionally special because of Dad's cheerfulness and warmth, while exemplifying academic brilliance and admirable family honor and dignity.
