Ismael Casarez Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sacramento and Angelita Casarez.
Left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Lupita Casarez; children, Ismael Casarez Jr. (Diane), Monica Becerra (Zenaido), Israel Casarez (Renee), Isaac Casarez, Diana Lopez, and Mary Hernandez; his grandsons, Freddie Leija and Israel Leija, who were raised as his own; 19 beloved grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Irene Cantu, Yolanda Casarez, Martha Escobar, and Lydia Ramirez; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1210 W. Grant Ave., Harlingen, TX officiated by Pastor Bill Reagan. Interment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Accompanying as honorary pallbearer Ms. Blanca Castro.
