Ismael Palomo

I only spent a few hours knowing Ismael, but I guess it is from all the family stories told about his zeal and tenacious spirit that made me feel like I had known him for so much longer. The stories go on and on about his happenings and mishaps, like the time he found himself over his head slaughtering a cabrito for dinner. I remember Mayelo teaching me how to dice an onion in Tollhouse, him finally talking to me after like 4 years when I made a joke about "Silence of the Lambs," and he always danced with me and hugged me back when I insisted on hugging him.
