Not sure what to say?

Mr. Cason was a fine man to all of Homestead boys. We spent many hours in his store at both of the locations. He provided all our sports uniforms and other things.
Sincere condolences to his family.
LtCol L. M. Underwood, USMC (Retired)

I was 10, in 1958, when moving to
Homestead and bought many model
airplanes, baseballs, gloves, bats
and fishing lures from the Sportsman
and Mr. Cason was always friendly,
most knowledgable and very helpful.
Sportsman was THE sports store, the
closest other being in Cutler Ridge,
which at 10, was like in another
country. My prayers and thoughts go
out to the Cason family.

As Ivan takes his last Flight, we of the 19th Air Refueling Sq, the successor to his Squadron, want to wish him clear skies, a following wind & a happy flight. He was a true warrior, patriot & comrade to us all.

Mr. Cason was always kind to me. He let me hang out in the Sportsman in the afternoon when I got out of school until my father closed his barber shop across the street. My sympathies go out to the Cason family.

I did not have to be around Ivan long to know he stood tall for God, Family and Country. I always felt good when Ivan came into the Barber Shop and even better when he left. He was my friend and brother. Our love goes out to his family.
