Dr. Ivan R. Eastwood

I know that Ivan lived in Pearson Hall during his undergraduate days at the University of Kansas because I also was a Pearson resident. He was one year ahead of me and I clearly remember that he was one of the best liked and respected residents of the hall. I seem to recall that he was designated a 'Hilltopper' (outstanding student) among other honors he received during those years. I didn't know he'd been a longtime Bend resident and was surprised to read of his passing in the Portland...

Katie, I am saddened to hear of your father's death, though I did not know much of his suffering. I was aware of the accident in 2003. I wish you good thoughts and sentiments durring this stressful time and hope you are surrounded with loved ones and friends. I did not know your father personally but know from you that he and your mother both were great people, who lived a full life until the tragic accident in 2003. Take good care.
