Ivan D. Lechowich

I met Ivan during fraternity rush at the University of Florida, and we were friendly from that point on. I have fond memories of him from college - he was always a suave and smooth character. The last time I saw Ivan was in Turlington Plaza at UF, it was a relaxed and sunny day with the weekend approaching. We spoke for a bit, he invited me to a party and I mentioned I couldn't attend as I was flying up North for job interviews, we were both trying to figure out how to begin our adult lives...

I am sorry for your loss. Be not afraid.

On this day of prayer for Afghanistan. I was looking for local soldiers that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. I would like to convey my gratitude to Ivan.
