Ivan was a talented and romantic photographer. He captured light and shadow and beauty. My best to his family and of course to Bev who shared with her talent and love.

I send my deepest sympathies to Ivan's entire family. Ivan and I first met in a beginning pottery class offered in the Concord Academy ceramics studio. I got to know him better after his son David attended The Cambridge School of Weston where I worked. I have always enjoyed hearing Ivan speak especially about his photography. In my home, I look at a framed print he made of a charming frog and continue to think of him often. Kristina Joyce

Ivan, you were a special inspiration to me as I tried to follow in your footsteps. I loved so many photos of yours, but especially the one of my brother Michael as Fidel Castro.
I'll miss your gentle humor. Suzanne

Dearest members of Ivan's family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of Ivan. He truly celebrated humanity's loveliness and accomplishments through his photojournalism. It was a great blessing for me to see his many photographs over the years. May all the wonderful times you spent with Ivan bring you comfort during these sad days of mourning.
Love to you all,
