Ivan Midlam

We will remember Ivan as the best teacher/caller. He will be missed

I was always so proud that Ivan was our caller...He insisted that we be smooth...no bouncing! Glide! Some of my best friends were met through Danebo Circle Eight and remain friends and fast memories. Of course Ivan was always right there with us. He will be sorely missed! Great Class of 1974!

We remember taking plus level squaring classes from Ivan. He had a real passion for teaching and wanted his dancers to do it right. Thanks Ivan.

We throughly enjoyed learning to square dance with Ivan & our "special" class of beginners in the 70's. We'll miss his sense of humor....he was one of a kind. Love you, Ivan!

When living in the Eureka area of Northern California, I remember calling square dances many times in the Eugene/Springfield area. Ivan was always willing to give advice on many aspects of calling and dancing. His knowledge and friendship will be missed.

Ivan was a great caller & we enjoyed his friendship both on & off the floor.
Although we haven't square danced for years, we still remember our special "group" of beginners & how much fun we had with Ivan. Ivan inspired us & we will miss him.

Our memories of Ivan are many, for over 50 years. He wasn't always the warmest and most cuddly guy, but we never doubted his commitment to what was best for square and round dancing. He was devoted to all of us in his dance "family".
We miss you, Ivan.
