Not sure what to say?

I played with Ivan in Mexico in 1984. I was invited to join the team based in Monterey in June. This was the Liga Anabe. Ivan was a very nice guy who could really hit! My condolences to his family, friends and fans.

It was great playing with him in the short time i was with San Diego. He was a very gregarius guy who seemed to always have something to smile about. Nothing seemed to phase him. Great team mate while in Hawaii. Rest in Peace Ivan and play with all the greats in Heaven!

It is still disconcerting and sad to think of him gone he was z great player.

I had no idea he had passed away, and as said to hear it. I was a big fan. He was a good player and an admirable pioneer for Central American ballplayers. His children should be proud of him.

I met Ivan after he retired and was very lucky to know him. We played a lot of racketball together and bar be cued a lot. I will miss you very much my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and family.

I have read here what he has been up to and that exactly was what i had hoped to find...but i am deeply sorry to have read of his passing away. I am not sure when his demise occured as this article that i read could be here for some time , does not say...
