Ivan Allred "Ike" Olson

Well, I am still above ground and sorry Ike and I did not have that last visit! Still think about him and the belts he made for me! I am almost 96 and I look forward in the future of having a first visit in another glorious place!! Love to his Family! Al

The last time I saw Ike was just before the Apollo Burger caught fire in Holladay and was torn down. He was leaving as we were entering and we decided to get together for old times and visit. Now that will take place in another world! I have known Ike since Junior High School. We both worked for B T Smith Electric Contractor! I was his trainer! We were adding some outlets in a home that had no basement only a crawl space. Ike was on his hands and knees when the electric drill caught and...

I will always be grateful for Ike's influence in my life. His son Todd and I were like brothers and Ike was like a second father. He was my baseball coach and I loved his subtle sense of humor. I worked for ID Electric for eight years and learned the value of hard rewarding work there. Recently Ike and I were ordinance workers at the Salt Lake Temple. Thank you Ike for your good life.
