Not sure what to say?

He was awesome and so were the films he directed:Meatballs, Stripes, Ghostbusters to name a few.
RIP Ivan Reitman

Ivan was one of the best friends I ever had. He shared stories of his family escaping the Holocaust, great puppet shows, birthday parties, lots of laughs...when we were young. Oh we had so many good times together. I lost contact with him in the 1970's. Thought about him quite often. He had a wonderful hard-working family. I will never forget the Reitmans and their warm home.

I loved the twins movie. Me and my mum watch it all the time. Thank you for your talent

We are thankful for his contribution to the movie industry. In this time of grief, may the family seek comfort from your heavenly father who cares for you all deeply and will help you to cope.

I am so sorry about the loss of Ivan. He directed movies that will never be forgotten and I thank him for that. The Reitman family has my deepest condolences and I pray that you will be surrounded continuously with love and support. As you go through this difficult time, may Almighty God give you “everlasting comfort” (2 Thess. 2:16).

Condolences to the loved ones, friends and fans of Ivan Reitman. His great filmmaking is known and will continue to be viewed for generations to come. May God comfort you all.

Thank you so much for giving me decades of laughter. Your heart and creativity were nothing less than magic. God bless and rest in peace. Condolences to Agi and family.

Ivan and I were classmates at Toronto Hebrew Day School from Grade 1 to Grade 3. I am so glad he was successful in life and family. His death has been a shock to me.

To Agi and family,
So sorry for your loss. Ivan was quite a mensch and I was a big fan too.
May his memory be for a blessing.
