Not sure what to say?

What a great professor and person!
Thank you for all the many years of service in the Plant Biology dept.

Ivan was a dear friend and my neighbor. I loved walking over to see his flower garden and having him tell me about all of the plants and how to care for them. His witty humor was very entertaining. I will miss him so much. His passing leaves an empty spot in my heart for a wonderful neighbor.

This is a sad news. I keep warm memories of Ivan. I took over his plant physiology class when I arrived to OU. He helped me improve it. I remember our lunches at several occasions. His advice and guidance helped me as a new faculty. I will miss him and his smile dearly. Rest in peace my dear friend. My sincere condolences to all family.

Ann and I were saddened to read of Ivan's passing. He was a the best friend I had for the years we spent in Athens. For over twenty years he and I would have lunch together, he always had a BLT and a cup of tea. He didn't even have to order when we walked through the door at The Oasis. They had seen him coming and had his BLT ready. The day we moved from Athens, without being asked to help, Ivan came over and took charge of loading the moving van.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Lynn...
