Ivan Edward Williams, 68, of Paris, passed away Friday, October 24th, 2008 at Aultman Hospital, following a long illness.

Ivan was born in Warwick, OH on January 18, 1940, the son of the late Charles E and Margaret E (Carr) Williams.

He worked at PCC Airfoils for 45 years retiring in 2006 as a Prototype Engineer with Research and Development.

Ivan is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gloria (Hamilton) Williams; two sons Gary (Liz) Williams of Malvern., Lynn (Teresa) Williams of Malvern, a daughter, Barbara (Rob) Williams-Garrett of Minerva; two brothers, Leonard (Mimi) Williams of Columbia City, IN., Robert Williams of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren Jennifer (Sonny) Mitchell of Malvern, Jessica (Chris) Williams of Malvern, Ansley and Davair Williams of Malvern, Chad (Kelli) Leach of Salem, Nicole Garrett of Minerva, Paul and Tyler Marion of Malvern; 2 great-grandchildren Addison Mitchell of Malvern, Olivia Leach of Salem, and a 3rd one on the way, Isabella Scarry of Malvern;

He is preceded in death by a grandson Michael Bryan.

Funeral Services will be held at the Bartley Funeral Home, Minerva, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 28th, 2008 with Pastor Jerry Carpenter officiating. Calling hours will be Monday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM at the Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.

Gloria, I'm so sorry to hear about Ivan. I just found out from Tom. He was always a guy. I'm sorry I didn't get down this summer to see you guys.
