Ivonete Maria Leite

I had the privilege of meeting Ivonete at Citibank and later we were neighbors in Key Biscayne. She was such a lively woman that she left a lasting impression on me forever. She was a role model for all of us around her and she will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.

I am so sad to learn that Ivonete passed away. What an amazing life she lived! She was a gentle force, on her own path. We met through Citibank. We shared a common enthusiasm for orchestral music. I am so sorry that I just learned of Ivonete´s passing. I met ivonete in New York in 1979 when she took over my job in Financial Institutions at Citibank. We became friends and that friendship endured throughout our lives. The last time I saw her was in April 2023 when we got together at August´s home and then I spoke to her when she had just found out about this devastating cancer.
