Kovack, Ivonne Steen 78, of Brookings, SD, formerly of Edina, MN, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the United Retirement Center, Brookings, SD. Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Freeman Kovack. Ivonne is survived by three loving children, Susan (Bradley) Doeden of Eden Prairie, MN, Jane (Barry) Dunn of Kingsville, TX, and Dean (Kay) Kovack of Edina; 6 grandchildren, Anne and Michelle Doeden, Thomas and Michael Dunn, and Daniel and Bradford Kovack; a sister, Ardelle Hoy, of Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral services have been set for 11 AM on Saturday, February 16, at First Lutheran Church, Brookings. Burial will be 11 AM Friday, February 22, 2008 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Mpls, MN, Lane #1. Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church, Brookings SD, Pioneer Cemetery Fund.
