Dick was a talented engineer and a great boss and friend. He was the Vice President of engineering at Hyster Company when I started there. He was so talented in many areas. He restored an old Thunderbird (his beautiful 1965 convertible) as well as '65-'66 Mustangs. He was active in the NW Vintage Thunderbird Club and restored airplanes as well. In the Summer of 2008 he dropped by our house and showed us some of his fantastic wood carvings. This is one of them that he had shown earlier...
