Dear Nora, I was greatly saddened to read in the Harvard Law School Bulletin that Dan had died in April. Please accept my sincere condolences. You probably don't remember me, but Dan was a great mentor to me during the first year of my clerkship with Judge Forrester, which started in June 1964 and overlapped with Dan's second and final year with Judge Forrester.
