J. David "Dave" Brinkley

I am sad to read of Dave's passing online moments ago. I met him around 2008-2009 when attending performance of the band he was in at the time called Leghorn. I met him by way of my friend Andy Alonso, the bassist in the band and during a period of time when I was living in Elizabethtown. The three of us enjoyed many laughs during and after the bands gigs. Dave was a great Dad, a great neighbor and a great coach. His calmness regardless of the score let his players know the world would keep spinning. The Gallaghers agree he will be sorely missed.

Dave will be missed by many ! I lived across the street from him for seven years. He was a wonderful neighbor. He organized our annual block party where all the neighbors came out for a time of fellowship. His band would play and we had a great time. Our deepest sympathies to his family and many friends. RIP brother, I will see you someday in paradise !!!
