Not sure what to say?

We speak of George quite often - we miss him and he remains important to us, even after all this time. What a fine man he was, and a true friend. We saw each other several times a year socially, and we kept in touch in between those times. A great man who had a high calling on his life. We know his location now, for sure, and he loved Jesus so much, and the things of God, we know he is in the absolute front row of heaven and as close as can be to God and to Jesus. His want-to heart was...

GEORGE BURKE WAS A GREAT MAN AND A CHERISHED FRIEND. BOTH MYSELF, AND MY WIFE MENTION HIM OFTEN, BEFORE HE BECAME VERY ILL AND PASSED, HE TOLD US HE WAS NOT A BIT AFRAID TO DIE BECAUSE HE KNEW HE WOULD BE WITH JESUS. WE MOST DEFINITELY BELIEVE GEORGE BURKE IS WITH JESUS, PROBABLY RIGHT NEXT TO HIM OR SURELY CLOSE BY, AND THAT IS EXACTLY HOW WE SHALL REMEMBER HIM, CLOSE TO JESUS. WHAT A DEAR AND HONORABLE HUMAN BEING. REST IN PEACE, DEAR GEORGE. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN SOMEDAY. FROM...

George was my VERY GOOD FRIEND. An example was his visiting me while I was in intensive care in a hospital. The hospital thought it was prudent to provide him a wheelchair to assist him in getting to my room! I miss him and will never forget him.

Dear George,
I never forgot you from when you were my supervisor at NJM in the late 60s and early 70s. I saw someone a few years ago while visiting NJ that still worked at NJM and asked about people I worked with. When I mentioned your name they told me they were close friends with you. You had said something like you did not think anyone remembered you from NJM so I tried to call you to let you know you were remembered with warmth, gratitude and having a great sense of humor and smile....

My condolences to the Burke family and friends. May you find comfort in God's Words at 1Thessalonian 4:14.

For any of George's family whom I missed at the services, please know you have my sympathy. He was part of my family too, since I was 17 years old, and he will be especially missed in July and August when we always got together to celebrate our birthdays and had a lot of fun. He will be remembered.

We were so sorry to hear of George's passing. George has been a good friend for many years and will be greatly missed. Our condolences to the Burke family. RIP George.

I shall miss George always. We had a treasured friendship for so many years.
His presence will be felt by me forever, and his absence on this earth will also be felt forever. Rest in peace, dear George. Your friend, Bill Diedalis.

WE had hoped to be at the services to celebrate George's life. Unfortunately we were unable to make the trip and have missed the opportunity to interact with others who have known him. Undoubtedly George will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends. We remember him through his love and interactions with our nieces and nephews, Tom's and Sharon's children. He was most generous as he related to each of them and they were grateful. With his kind heart he lead a good,...
