J. Russell Carpenter

Elaine, Ellen and Family:
I was sad to learn of the death of Russ. Not only had I known him as Mr. Carpenter, growing up with Ellen, but also as Russ, who was very active with the Knights of Columbus on the VT State level when I was also a VT State Officer for the Catholic Daughters. He was a wonderful man, who was involved with the K of C and other venues, who will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

I went to school with Russ and knew him well. Our thoughts and prayer go out to the family.

Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. I enjoyed serving with Russ on the Tri-State Lotto Commission for many years. He spoke frequently of his enjoyable travels with his family. I know he will be missed but never forgotten.

I've known Russ and liked him for many years and remember going to AllState Band with him in the '40s and also the Legion Band of the 1950's.Very sorry to read of his passing.

I'm aware of how important it was to him to be a great husband and Dad and he certainly met those qualities But I wanted you to know how much I cared about Russ-he was a trusted friend who has left fond memories that I shall always cherish.
