Not sure what to say?

Dear Shoshanna, Charles and Jonah,

It is with great sadness that we learned of Harris' passing from us. He was mentor, friend, and an inspiration to all of us. To honor Harris, we planted 25 trees in Plumas National Forest. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to support you in this time of sorrow. Many years and many miles separate us, but your family is still in our hearts.

With love and sympathy,

Judy

Harris was such a positive...

Dear Shoshanna,

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Harris' death. It was so wonderful to be with both of you last year, and we were hoping to see you again soon. Harris faced the challenge of his illness with remarkable courage and determination. Over many decades, Harris has persisted in difficult and meaningful work, even when it has been hard to maintain optimism about our society. He was one of the rare and admirable people who lived his values. Shoshanna, this is...

To Harris' family,

I know that you don't know me, so kindly think of this message as the thoughts of Harris' colleague. Harris gave me much needed advice when I first started at Legal Services. He had a brilliant mind, and I often looked to him for guidance. I am so sorry for your loss.

Love,

Shoshanna, my thoughts are with you! Harris was a great advocate, mentor, and friend, and I loved the heck out of him. I second everything the others have said in praise of Harris, and so much more.

Shoshanna,

Please accept my sympathy over the loss of Harris. He had a deep impact on my life. As a young lawyer at my first job with Newark Legal Services Project, Harris taught me how to practice law. He was my mentor. One day when I was tired after battling the opposing forces following the Newark riots, Harris reminded me that we could not fight a revolution between 9-5. I never forgot it. He was a great leader dedicated to "justice for all". I will always be grateful to...

My deepest condolences. Harris was a friend and mentor and I will miss him and his help and encouragement. Besides being smart and helpful and dedicated, he pushed us to be better, smarter and wiser. He will be missed! We are keeping you in our prayers.

With love and prayers from your LSNJ family. We all loved Harris dearly!

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Harris was a wonderful person and role model.
